Drawing Roses: pencil drawing in a sketchbook

For the last three years I have been keeping a perpetual sketchbook. This is a sketchbook that is designed to be drawn in once a week over several years. Eventually you will fill up this book.

And a few weeks ago I drew some roses from my garden.

I used an iPhone photo to work from and completed the rose drawing over four days.

This is something I really love about a sketchbook habit, you can break up the drawing over sessions as time permits in your schedule.

I created a Skillshare class that demonstrates how to create a drawing of roses using my same photo reference.
