Loudoun County Hay Fields
Explore, grow, and evoke an emotional response. My overall goal in my art and in life…
Lately, my mind is going in so many directions that I feel it is hard to focus… these are the times when I embrace the “explore” part the most, I want to try new techniques, I want to think about new projects, and I do not have the patience to stay still… instead I just buzz about hoping to find something that will grab my attention, so I can mentally slow down and begin to absorb all the thoughts and ideas, and begin to grow.
The day I took the reference photo of this painting, I was in a similar mindset. S. and I were out celebrating our fifth anniversary… it was a glorious autumn day, S. found a four-leaf clover early in the day, and I was sharing with him all the excitement I had about my new hobby, blogging.
My mind was full of the ideas and the potential that blogging would bring into my life… and looking back at the years that have followed, I am amazed by how all those fluttering of feelings have come true.
Thank you for being a part of this fun experience,
Liz
